Finally Friday

We are so glad that it is Finally Friday, for lots of reasons. First of all, our woofie Samwise is home and safe. This is a picture Daddy took of Sammy yesterday morning. We think he was saying "I do not like it here. Can we go home now, please please please?" The V-E-T had to pull two of his teeths and was unable to sew the wound up (not enough healthy tissue because the teeth were very bad) so he has an open wound in his mouth. What this means is Samwise gets lots of Auntie Botiks and pain med-a-shuns and he gets to eat as much stinky goodness as he wants for a few days because he cannot have crunchies. Thank you all for your purrs and purryers. We all really appreciate it.

Secondly, we are thankful that it is Finally Friday because both of our beans will be home all weekend - unlike last weekend. Last weekend we had Mommy all to ourselves all day on Caturday because Daddy had to go and cook FOODS for people, at a cemetery no less (Purrageous Mom: It was a dinner for participants of a Halloween event at this particular historic cemetery so that is why they had the dinner there). Here is a picture of Daddy cooking - he is in the black shirt on the right.

Can you guess who is on the left? He has on Halloween makeup so he looks a little different than normal. Mommy says if you or your beans are something called "a foodie" then his hair should be a huge hint. Your other hint is that this person has been has been on TV lots. Do you know?

Finally, we are happy it is Friday because Fridays now mean Daddy is home with us from day hunting, all day. Yay!! That means we have someone to wait on us and serve as as we should be taken care of. Oh, and he can make sure samwise is doing well too! Have a great weekend everykitty!

Finally Friday!!

Hey everykitty!! We has news on this Finally Friday. As most of you know our Mommy has a little alien in her tummy that we are told is a little kitten waiting to be borned. Captain Jack has even curled up next to Mommy's tummy and felt squirming in there. Its realy weird!! Well, on Wednesday Daddy took Mommy to the V-E-T to find out if its a boy kitty or a girl kitty and we are pleased to announce

WE IS HAVING A BOY KITTEN!!!

Yep, it looks like we will have a new cabin boy on the Black Furrball sometime in November. It's a good thing we promoted FAGIN so that we have room from the new kitty on the ship! Have a great weekend everyone!!

Finally Friday

We are so glad that it's Finally Friday here at the Black Furrball. It's been a very long week for us - our Daddy has been sick all week so he went to the V-E-T yesterday to get med-a-suns for his coughs and sniffles (he did stay home with us one whole day so that was nice!) and Mommy is all busy and stressed out from day hunting. Daddy will be working this weekend making cheezburgers and stuffs again (Daddy better bring some home too!!!!) but Mommy says she is going to try to take it easy and hang out with us. We're also going to start planning Fagin's 1st Birthday Celebration that we have scheduled for next Friday, Feb 6th!! Can you kitties believe the little demon is almost 1 year old???

In other news, we are pleased to annouce that we has a new cousin kitty!! Aunt Susan and Uncle Dave have adopted a very special kitty - a 10-11 week old gingersnap that they are going to name LaRoux (yeah, they are from New Orleans and it shows!!). Mommy met him and said the minute she picked him up he started purring and making biscuits on her, and then he attacked her hair (just like Fagin does)! She said she will try to get some pictures of him to show everyone but until then we wanted to tell Cousin LaRoux "Welcome Home"!!!!

Finally Friday

We Purrageous Pirates are so happy that it's Friday that we just could not contain ourselves. We wanted to celebrate that we'll have the whole weekend with our beans at home all the time with us - well, as soon as they get home from their day hunting gigs that is. In order to make them hurry up and get home from dayhunting, we decided that they needed to hurry up and go day hunting (faster there, faster home, right?) so we conned the woofies into waking both beans up at 5:30am!! And it worked! Both beans got up and Daddy even left much earlier than normal! Wait, what is that Mommy? Daddy had to leave early to go to another office today and would have gotten up early anyway? We wasted our time and made our beans grumpy? NAW! We don't believe that at all!!

In order to celebrate this Friday, we finally made Mommy post some of our awards. Here they are!!

This award was given to Fagin by those cool cats over at Manx Mews (Captain Jack sends his love and affection to "my own pirate lady love, Miss Boo!"). Isn't it great kitties? Well, Fagin knows he is supposed to pass it along but we think most kitties have gotten this one. However, if you have not gotten it yet consider yourself awarded!!

Finally Friday

Hey kitties, it is your very favorite Purrageous Pirate here - ME, Fagin!! Yay! The big pirates are gone off on their boat to save the Florida kitties and they told ME to stay here and distract the Mommy so that the Mommy did not realize they were gone. Well, ME thought ME did my job very well - but the Mommy did not agree and ME just not understand it.

You see, ME is a fearsome hunter (really ME is) and ME caught this very SCARY and BIG bug. Mommy says it is called a Palmetto bug. Anyway, here is a picture of one - isn't it HUGE? It's like 4 inches BIG!! And that's BIG!!Well, ME caught it and killed it and then ME took it to give it to the Mommy, cause ME had to keep her distracted and how else to distract the Mommy but to give her ME wonderful kill. Well, ME brought it to her and sat in right in fronts of her and she screamed - but not a good scream. No, like the scared scream she does when she sees spiders. Anyway, she actually said to ME "Fagin, thank you very much, let's just squish it to make sure its dead." HA! Like ME would give her a nonkilled bug.!COME ON! And then do you know what she did with it after she squished it flat? She did not eat it or give it to the Daddy to cook. No, she threw it away!! ME do not get it! ME worked hard to kill that BIG bug and the Mommy did not like it, although she said she did. ME so confused.

Anyway kitties, have a Happy Finally Friday and a good weekend. PLAYPLAYPLAY lots and DANCE and EAT FOODS!! YAY FRIDAY!!!

PS: The Mommy wanted me to tell you that she weighed ME last night and ME now weigh 10 WHOLE POUNDS!! Does this mean that ME is almost a mancat?!?!

Finally Friday

It's Finally Friday and we are very happy about that here at the Black Furrball. For one thing Mommy and Daddy will be home with us for the next two days. For another thing, it is the first weekend in 3 weeks that they will spend at home with us and not in Florida. Yay! However, while they have been day hunting this week we've been looking at the pictures of things they did while in Florida and we are not happy kitties. Let us show you why!Look at these birdies. What use does a human have for these birdies? Mommy says they would eat out of your hand and they tooks lots of pictures of them. We say you are supposed to eat them, not feed them! Silly humans!Look at these fishies. Mommy says they are called dolphins and that they swam with the boats they were on. Mommy, you do not swim with fishies, you eat them! Silly human!

Now our biggest concern - this picture gives us proof that there were other pirates in the vicinity and we were not there to protect Mommy and Daddy. What if they had been captured by this Black Beard? We kitties would have had to launch a rescue mission and would have had to save them and that would have been tiring. Mommy and Daddy, you are no longer allowed to go to such an unsafe place!!

In other news, Fagin is very excited because his best friend Billy SweetFeets GingerSnap gave him this award!

PS: We almost forgot to update. Mommy is feeling much much better and her legs are no where near as red as they were. Beaux is also feeling bettter and thinks that George visiting him on her new sailboat was just the right medicine. Thanks for your purrs everyone!!

Finally Friday

It is Finally Friday kitties and then means one important thing - Mommy and Daddy will be home tommorow!! They are checking out of their beachside condo tommorow morning and driving home to us. They will be home tommorow night. We cannot wait and Mommy says she is read to be home too.

This is part of the reason why. Can you see the red bumps on Mommy's leg? Mommy is very fair skinned and she managed to get sun poisoning. She says she is all itchy and broken out into red blister bumps. She is taking lots of Benadryl and not going out to the beach or out in the sun because that would make it worse. Poor Mommy! Come home and we will make you feel better!

We do have some sad news and we must ask for your purrayers. Wednesday a coworker of our Nana drowned off the coast of Panama City, FL (which is very close to where Mommy and Daddy are). She and her fiance were caught in a rip current and drowned before rescuers could reach them. She left a young teenage daugter behind. Please send some purrs to help her family. We think they may need as many as they can get.

In better news, Mommy sent us this picture. She and Daddy went shopping yesterday and found a dog bakery. She said she bought stuff for all of us and that it is in this bag. We wonder what it is!! Happy Friday kitties!!

Finally Friday?

We are so glad it is Finally Friday. You may have noticed that we have not been around much this week. We are sorry for that and must say that it is totally Mommy's fault! When we let her know our displeasure from not being able to blog and Captain Jack not being able to visit Boo, or Dante being able to visit Pearl, or Fagin being able to play with Billy she gave us tons of excuses. Some of them were work was worse this week that usual (which she thinks is saying a lot), she seems to have caught Tybalt's Mom's and Hendrix's Mom's colds so she feels bad (so she says), and she's really tired too. Should we forgive her this one last time for her inattention toward us and our blog? What do you kitties think??

Finally Friday!

We are so excited it's Friday!! Not only is the weekend here so Mommy and Daddy will be home and we can sleep late and cuddle and stuff, but Mommy told us a great secret surprise last night!

SHE'S NOT DAY HUNTING ALL NEXT WEEK!!

That's right. She is taking a vacation from work and unlike at the end of the month when she doesn't go day hunting but she and Daddy go away, she is going to be staying home with us. She says she needs a mental health vacation and we are totally with her! YAY!! We cannot wait for her to come home and the day hunting vacation to begin! Happy Friday everyone!!!

Finally Friday!!

Mommy used to have a shirt that had this design on it. She says that lately this picture completely describes how she feels. Unfortunately because of her looking like that picture we have not been around as much lately or visiting our friends like we want to. First we want to say we are sorry and second we want to tell you it's because the bad people where Mommy day hunts are making her really stressed out. She is trying to help get people set up for the upcoming new fiscal year (she says that that year starts in July but we thought New Year Day was in January. Why does humans have different years going on in the same 365 days? So confusing!) and its not that easy.

We've decided that if Mommy does not get a break soon we are going to her day hunting place and taking it over by pirate kitty force!! We found this picture online and are making Fagin practice this look because we think he can pull it off as the scary pirate tabby kitten. While he's distracting the bad humans that are making Mommy stressed with this frightening look, we big pirates will slide in and take over, planting the flag of the Black Furrball to show our domination. What do you kitties think? Do you think it will work?

Finally Friday

Captain Jack: It's Finally Friday and all of us at the Black Furrball intend to do just what I am doing in the picture above - hang out (or upside down) and relax! Mommy is off work on Monday too and guess what! Last night Aunt Susan came over and jabbed Fagin with a needle!! It was great!

Purrageous Mom: Now Jack, Aunt Susan came over to give Fagin his next kitten booster vaccine. She didn't "jab" him, she gave him a shot and you know it! He's feeling fine by the way, not even droopy. (BTW - Aunt Susan still has not decided on a name for her new clinic. We'll let you know when she does!).

Captain Jack: Yeah yeah, but I am still glad it was not me. and guess what else kitties! Mommy went to Aunt Susan's last night and saw two baby kittens and DID NOT BRING THEM HOME!!

Purrageous Mom: Jack is right. The Black Furrball is currently at kitty capacity, but Aunt Susan is fostering two adorable month old kitties - a female tortie and a female solid gray kitty too. I'll try to get pictures of them this weekend to show everyone but if any of you know anyone who is interested in adopting a kitty, let me know!! Until then, we hope everyone has a great weekend!

Finally Friday

Yes!! We are so very happy that today is Friday! Mommy and Daddy will be home with us and Nana and Grandpa are even coming over to visit tommorow. We're hoping that the weather is nice so that we can hang out on our back porch and watch Daddy finish his new project. He's been working really hard on this project in our backyard for the last couple of weeks. Here's a picture of what he has been up to:

Can you guess what Daddy is doing in our backyard? Here's a hint - he did this because of the dogs who have free roam of the entire backyard. We'll tell you later this weekend what this is for.

Mommy has been shaking her head a lot at Daddy and his project. Mommy has a different idea as to what looks good to decorate the backyward with. This is what Mommy does to decorate:We like Mommy's decorating skills better. Cat wind chimes!! They sound pretty and have an image of the best and most wonderful creature ever! Don't you agree?
