Mancat Monday

There is nothing better for a mancat than meditating in the sun. A real mancat always knows that meditation and relaxation in a sunbeam is of vital importance to his health.

It keeps him from wanting to whap his brother when he hears him sneaking up behind...

Because he wants to try to hog your sunbeam and meditation area too!

Ah, sunbeams are magic. I was so content that I did not attack the Captain and I even considered sharing my sunbeam! Aren't I a wonderful mancat?! I think I deserve lots of treats and nummies for being such a good brother to the Captain this weekend. And yes, it was as beautiful and warm as it looks - 70 degrees and tons of sun. We spent most of the day sunning ourselves on the porch. HEAVEN! My lovely Pearl, would you care to teleyport over and share some sunbeams with me?

In other news, we have an LK update!!!

Daddy talked to Uncle Dave and LK is stilll improving. He is eating well and growing and is actually beginning to eat things other than just kitten milk! He has lapped at some stinky goodness! Woohoo! Since Aunt Susan is between shifts again, Mommy hopes to be able to go and visit LK at some point this week so she can get some new pictures for everyone and so that she can see how much he has grown. Thanks again to everyone who is purring and purraying for him. It means a lot and we are sure it is what is helping LK to get so strong so fast!!

LK Update - We Need Extra Purrs

We have an update on LK (AKA Little Kitty). Mommy talked to Aunt Susan last night and while LK is not any worse, he is also not much better. Aunt Susan is very worried that he is not eating as well or as much as she would like. She says that as long as he stays like this, she will hang in there with him and do everything that she can. However, she is feeling discouraged.

We think LK just needs some more encouragement and purrs from the Blogosphere. Aunt Susan too. We know you guys have been purring and purraying lots and lots, but we need even more purrs and purrayers if we can get them! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for the good wishes and purrs you have given LK so far. We know that all of the blogosphere will hang in there for LK and we just hope that LK hangs in there with us!!!
