You see, ME is a fearsome hunter (really ME is) and ME caught this very SCARY and BIG bug. Mommy says it is called a Palmetto bug. Anyway, here is a picture of one - isn't it HUGE? It's like 4 inches BIG!! And that's BIG!!
Well, ME caught it and killed it and then ME took it to give it to the Mommy, cause ME had to keep her distracted and how else to distract the Mommy but to give her ME wonderful kill. Well, ME brought it to her and sat in right in fronts of her and she screamed - but not a good scream. No, like the scared scream she does when she sees spiders. Anyway, she actually said to ME "Fagin, thank you very much, let's just squish it to make sure its dead." HA! Like ME would give her a nonkilled bug.!COME ON! And then do you know what she did with it after she squished it flat? She did not eat it or give it to the Daddy to cook. No, she threw it away!! ME do not get it! ME worked hard to kill that BIG bug and the Mommy did not like it, although she said she did. ME so confused.

PS: The Mommy wanted me to tell you that she weighed ME last night and ME now weigh 10 WHOLE POUNDS!! Does this mean that ME is almost a mancat?!?!

Fagin - it's hard to understand, I still don't get it myself. Why just the other day I brought a nice freshly deaded bird and placed it carefully in the hall where Mommy takes off her shoes. When she came home and saw it she skreetched her head off and wouldn't come in the house till Daddy threw my bird away! It's crazy I tell you!

That's a great present! I don't know why she had to do that screaming thing. Yay for weighing 10 pounds! We remember when you were just a tiny little baby kitty.

Eeewww! I grew up in Florida and I have a lot of not fond memories of those bugs. Your Mommy and me could have a contest to see who screams the loudest :-p But, congratulations on killing it deaded, and also weighing 10 whole lbs :-D I bet you're going to be a big mancat.

Wow Fagin, a four inch long bug??? That is just too big to comprehend! We know our Momma would do that scream thing too ... hee hee! She saw one when her and Daddy were in Florida once and freaked out! 10 pounds, eh? You are almost a mancat ... that is awesome!
