Mancat Monday

In our house, all mancats must cook just like Daddy! Mommies and Lady Kitties do not cook, unless it's warming something up in the microwave. In order to show you guys this, here are some pictures of us helping Dad yesterday morning with the manly breakfast cooking duties!!

Dante supervises the cooking from his perch on the kitchen utility cart, instructing Daddy on how to best cook the eggs. (If you look behind him on the counter, you will see our wonderful fountain too! It's up there so no nasty doggies can drink our filtered water).

Captain Jack supervises the lower part of the cooking. He makes sure that no food that falls on the floor goes uneaten. (Yes, those are Daddy's legs in his slippers and pajamas - it was breakfast we were cooking and for some reasons our humans hate getting out of their pajamas on Sundays). If you look really closely at the top of the picture, you can see Dante's toesies perched on the cart like in the picture above.

In other news, we have decided that Dante shall have a title as well. From now on, his official title will be "Sir Dante Barbossa, First Mate and Lieutenant" but we may just call him Sir Dante for short. What do you kitties think???

That is a great name for Dante. Now he has been knighted, he can help rescue lady cats in distress. (Not that I've every needed much rescuing...)

I love Sir Dante's new title! And a mancat who can cook is very good. My Mommie only knows the microwave kind of cooking.

Ooooh . . . Dante has a title! He must be in really good with the Queen . . . maybe I'll see him at one of the royal functions now.

My mommy lived in her jammies yesterday, too. It must be a bean thing.

Oh Capt'n Jack

I cannot believe how my Momma kept me away for so long. I have been mewin at her to let me see you and she kept telling me she couldn't because we have no innernets....sigh so I had to keep myself entranced with your handsome pictures while I have been away. I have missed you ever so much...I hope you missed me too, maybe just a little.

Sir Dante, we all agree that is most befitting title, especially for a kitty who understands that snoopervising human food preparation is absolute top priority!

I think Sir Dante is a great name! Did you two get any of the breakfast that your dad was cooking?

We agree, men should do all the cooking! Can you tell our boys? At 17 and 19, we think they are plenty old enough!

Great title - we love "Sir" Dante! very nice! Karl's maid is a disaster in the kitchen - without the help of the butler she'd probably starve... hahahahahaha
We will have a surprise guest coming tomorrow and a big party on Thursday!!!

Sir Dante it is then. Ohhhhhhh my mom is drooling over a homecooked breakfast. the only thing she's cooked for breakfast in the last year is oatmeal.

Maybe if you two could teach me how to cook, I could help my mom when she needs it. The only thing is that she's a vegetarian so I really don't want to learn how to cook the crap she eats. Oh well, keep up the good work men.

Rock on, Sir Dante!

Fun! Mommy wishes my daddy would cook. He only cooks "packaged foods" as he won't even mess with leftovers. Jeez.

You guys are such good helpers!

I like your name Dante. I'm not changing my Tuesday post tho cause mommy is ready to get OFF the computer.

PS It sounds like Diamond may enjoy a trip on the Black Furrball.

Sir Dante has a real nice ring to it. Our dad does not cook, at all. Mom hardly lets him use da microwave cuz he has been known to blow stuff up and start small fires. Really, he lit a muffin on fire in da microwave once...

Concatulations on your knighthood, Sir Dante! That was some excellent supervising that you guys were doing with your dad. Did you get any of what he was cooking? He's got to realise that without you guys to help, he could have been in a lot of trouble. Just stick close to him whenever he's in the kitchen and eventually he should get the hint that he needs to pay you for your time (preferably with food).

Oh in our house only Mommy cooks (mostly cause Daddy can't even boil water) - but Jake always snoopervises.

We love Dante's new title! Very fitting for a pirate first mate.

We've nominated you for an award over on our bloggie, come on by!
