Sleepy Sunday

It's been a very sleepy weekend here at the Black Furrball. It's been raining and storming some too so we've been taking it easy. Aunt Susan came over Friday night and gave Fagin his first round of kitten vaccines (Mommy would have gotten pictures but she had to act as Aunt Susan's tech and hold Fagin while she injeccted him) and she looked at his leg too. She doesn't think it is broken but that he probably overextended his wrist landing from a jump. Since he is a kitten, he is playing really rough on the injured leg too - he managed to limp the worse he ever has limped while Aunt Susan was here so she got a good look at him.She asked Mommy to try to keep Fagin as calm and quiet as possible so he can heal. Yesterday was easy because he felt a little icky from his shot. Today he is feeling better and not limping but he really wants to play so Mommy fed him lots of stinky goodness and locked him into his room so he will sleep. We've decided to be lazy and sleep too to show our new little brother that all cats love their naps! Okay, we're going back to sleep now - YAWN! Night kitties!

We hope Fagin's leg is okay ... our brother Simon did the same thing when he was younger, and it seemed like he limped forever, but he is fine now and Fagin will be too! Happy Sunday!

Oh Fagin, you little silly! I know playing is fun, but you need to rest your little wrist.

It certainly is a sleepy day. I am glad that Fagin got some extra treats now that he feels a bit better!

That's pretty funny that the little guy just can't stay still. I hope you hypnotized him into a good Sunday nap.

It is good to have a sleepy day once in awhile. You may need more of them Fagin to get that leg all healed!

poor little Fagin! I had the 'zact same thing happen to my back leg when I was 5 months old (that was 3 whole months ago!). I try very very hard to fly off the furniture and through the air, but sometimes I'm not so good with my landings. I hadta stay stuck in the PTU for A WHOLE WEEK!
