Look at this!!

You kitties will never believe what happened to us! Last night, as we were trying to settle down and take some naps, the woofies kept barking and barking. Samwise and Beaux just would not shut up! Finally, Daddy got up about 1:30am to see what all the ruckus was about. Imagine our surprise when he came in and said, "You will not believe this, but there is a little dog in our yard!" Mommy and us could not believe it! How did a doggie get into our yard? It's fenced and last we looked woofies could not open our gate (if they could Beaux would be out exploring the world not staying in our backyard)! But it was true. Just look at what Daddy found!!

He's a male and about 1-2 years old we think. Daddy thinks he is a cross between a Sheltie and a Chihuahua. He fit into our PTU and is currently hanging out with Daddy at work today.

Mommy and Daddy cannot figure out how he got in. The fence was shut and no places where the doggie dug into the yard were evident. Mommy is wondering if someone wanted to get rid of him and put him in our backyard because they knew we had found another homeless dog a home a few weeks ago. He's a male and about 1-2 years old we think.

Mommy and Daddy are not sure what to do with him. They do not know if he is good with other woofies or kitties yet or if anyone will take him. Anyone have any ideas?? We cannot keep him because the Black Furrball is over full and any more may sink the ship. He is really cute though, for a woofie.

Spirit and Ezra sez... We think he is a pomeranian. Maybe he is lost. Our doggie furriend Bean was lost and her mommie and daddy really wanted he back. maybe your momma and daddy can put up flyers or post on craigslist in case someone is looking for him. if not, we fink you should keep him!

It does sound like someone put him in your fenced yard. Have you had him checked for a microchip yet? Possibly he is lost and someone opened your fence and put him in. I'd hate to think his owners were the ones who did that :(

He sure is adorable! He looks well looked after and groomed, it is hard to believe somebody abandoned him.

I agrees says Mommy Bean it looks like a Pomeranian. Perhaps notify vets offices, human societys and animal shelters? When Mommy Bean lost her white manx kitty along times ago, she left word with the animal shelter incase he was found. (He was never founds though.)

You should definitely check to see if he's chipped and then notify the local vets and shelters, maybe put up posters? Can Aunt Susan help? Also a lot of papers offer free listings for "found pets".

Hello my sweet Dante,
I'm sorry that I missed your lovely invitation. Mommy was off this weekend visiting friends so I had no typist! Purrhaps you'd like to teleport over today and we could snuggle and watch the thunderstorms roll in?

We agree with checking around to see if he belongs to anyone. We also think he looks like a Pom. He might have run away from his owners on the 4th, and someone knowing you are a pet household put him in your backyard hoping you would know what to do.

I would check to see if he has a chip in him. That might help you find his home. Otherwise, how are the shelters in your area?

Oh I hope he finds his home. I wonder if someone thought he was yours after he wandered away after the fireworks?

Oh...that is a beautiful Pomeranian! Our Aunt has one. Those are very expensive doggies. Someone is missing him. He looks too well groomed to have been just left. Hope you find his parents!

We think you may want to place an ad in the paper and put up signs. Maybe he has a microchip! We both do, just in case we ever get lost. He obviously belongs to somebody. Oh, we hope they find him soon! He's awfully kyoot!

He looks like a sweet little fella. He does look very well groomed, so maybe it was nasty folks who stole him and dumped him in your yard? Seconding all the suggestions to check out if he is chipped. I hope this has a hppy ending!
