Mancat Monday

For our first ever Mancat Monday - we shall show you two activities that all mancats must do! The first Mancat activity will be demonstrated by Dante.

All Mancats must bask in the sun to keep their manly muscles warm.

If anyone claims sunbathing is not manly, a good Mancat will give them the stare - in Dante's case, the squinty-eyed stare. It is very effective for proving your Mancatness!

Notice that one does not have to leave their chosen sunbeam to give an effective Mancat stare!

The second Mancat activity will be demonstrated by Captain Jack. It is the art of camouflage.

You will notice that Jack is well hidden among the plants, but yet he does this manly activity from the comfort of his own cat bed. It takes a real Mancat to hide undetected in such style!

ooooo those are great Mancat activities. I could hardly see Jack! Being camouflaged is important when pouncing on wayward soft bitey mice and string toys.

I certainly wouldn't try to remove Dante from that sunbeam or question his Mancatliness after that look.

Very manly activities. We would not try to steal any sunbeams from Dante, he gives a steely, squinty glare!

Dante, I do not think anybody would ever doubt that you are a big mancat, especially with your squinty eyed stare, just like Clint Eastwood!

I cannot comment on Jack because I could not see him he is so well camouflaged.

Hey, Dante - very mancatly pictures. Jack - we couldn't see you since you were so well camouflaged.

We saw on Midnight, Grr & Cocoa where you said something about rain in Georgia. Did ya'll get any today? It rained in Northwest Georgia (Mom got wet when she went to lunch)

You both look mancatly! I agree, sunbathing is very important, taking possession of a high prized sunbathing spot is the epitome of mancatliness!

Grabbing and defending the best sunspot is a very mancatly activity, Dante, and you have mastered the steely stare. Jack, you are very good at camoflage.

Wow, you have Mancattiness down to a fine art!

I am also doing both activities. And we need to do it..., to hide for hours undetected we mancats really have to warm up our manly muscles!

Mia and Ghost - Yes it finally rained yesterday (and it raining today and supposed to rain tommorow too). We live in the northern Atlanta suburbs and Mommy works downtown and it rained all day at both places yesterday! We are very thankful for every little bit, even thought this really doesn't help the drought all that much.
