We also wanted to say sorry that we have not been around lately but Mommy has not been feeling well and has not been up to helping us to type. She went to an urgent care place last night and that doctor told her that she probably has the flus even though she had a flus S-H-O-T. Poor Mommy. When she feels better, we will get aroudn to everyone again, we promise!!!

Mancat Monday

All good mancats must take care of their Mommies when she is sick!! Yes kitties, we had hoped to get a real post with actual pictures up for today so you all could see how we are wasting away from Mommy's neglect - umm, we mean long working hours - but that neglect - we really do mean long working hours - has ended up with Mommy spending the entire weekend in bed with a fever and a sore throat saying she felt like she had something called the floo. So while we do not have a proper post with pictures for you today, we are happy to report that we got to lay in bed with Mommy all weekend and to make things even better she and Daddy put the magic blanket on the bed!! Do you kitties have a magic blanket? Its plugged into the wall and when a bean turns it on it gets all warm and snuggy! We love our magic blanket!!

Mommy's neglect - ummm, we mean long working hours - should end for a while on Wednesday at the latest. Please do not forget us by then! Have a great week everyone!!

Wordy Wednesday

Hello friends! Today we have a Wordy Wednesday. First of all, we must ask for some purrs for two of our family members.

First, could you guys please purr and purray for Beaux? He woke up this morning crying and whining. Mommy and Daddy looked him over and could find no wounds, and he is not limping, but his back left hip area seems to be hurting. They called Aunt Susan who was still at work at 6am (she is currently working nights from 8pm to 8am) and she thinks he probably pulled or strained a muscle. Mommy and Daddy had some leftover doggie pain medication/anti-inflammatories to give him so they did so and Daddy is going to come home at lunch to check on him. Please purr that he feels much better soon!!

Secondly, our Mommy could use some purrs too. The reason we did not post yesterday was that Mommy was home from day hunting and had to go to the human V-E-T. The sun poisoning she got at the beach had gotten worse and was swelling and quite painful. The doctor gave her shots in her tocks and said that the sun poisoning was coupled with an infection of the top layers of her skin. She is feeling a bit better and has ant-botiks and pain medication but its very ugly and uncomfy and we hope she gets better soon too!!

Now on to some fun stuff. Look what Daddy brought home for us yesterday! A great big box that had that thing behind Captain Jack in it in this picture. We could care less about the thing that was in the box and were more interested in the box. It was lots of fun to play on and inside of too.

Mommy caught this picture of the Captian and the Kid and laughed lots. Doesn't Fagin look vicious? Doesn't Jack look oh-so-worried (yeah, not really!)? HAHAHA!

And our last picture. We shall entitle this "Please Daddy, can I have some more?" after Oliver Twist. Yes, it is Fagin begging Dad for those real life dead shrimp in the bowl.

You might wonder where Dante is in all this. Well, when Mommy and Daddy got home from Florida, Aunt C told them that sometimes Dante was hard to find (we wonder where he was - Pearl, do you have any ideas? Maybe something about teleyporting to you all week?) When he heard this he decided to hide some just to make sure not to blow his cover. So far its working....or maybe he is still teleyporting over to Pearl's? We do not know. Pearl, if you see him, tell him to come back and check out our new box!! You and the boys can come too - maybe a visit from George would help Beaux feel better too!

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day everyone! To all of the fallen heroes, and all of the past and present service members who have answered the call - thank you! Your sacrifice makes our freedom possible and we shall never forget that!

We hope that everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day. We also wanted to tell everyone thank you so much for the hugs that you have left for us and know that we have hugs for the entire cat blogosphere too. We know we have not been around much lately but that is for two reasons.

The first is that lightening zapped our internet! Yep! We had a big thunderboomer on Friday afternoon and lightening came in from the outside and zapped the internet box at the street, the card in Daddy's desktop and our wireless network box! We are very glad it did not zap Daddy's computer too and since it came in from outside, our provider has to pay for the repairs! We were internet-less all day Friday and Saturday morning. Thankfully the repair guy came and replaced everything (well, all but the network box. Daddy had to go out and buy a new one so that our laptops would work) and we were back online by Saturday afternoon. The Captain was so thankful for the repairs (he was going thru Boo withdrawals) that he loved all over the repairman and the repairman petted Jack lots too. We think Jack made a new friend!

Secondly, Mommy went to the human V-E-T Friday and was told she has bronchitis. She's been coughing and laying in bed all weekend so we pirates have been keeping her company. Since we've been napping so much with Mommy, we have not had time to visit our friends but please know that we are thinking of you all and are sending our hugs too! We love our bloggy friends!

Piratey Update

Hi everyone! We know we have not been posting a lot lately, or visiting friends this week, but our Mommy is sick again! She went to the V-E-T yesterday and still feels terrible. Hopefully now that she has more meds, she will feel better soon and we can get back to visiting everyone.

We wanted to give you all an update on Samwise too. Samwise is feeling lots better and Aunt Susan says he is healing nicely. He actually got to go and visit his girlfriend Storm on Tuesday for Aunt Susan and Uncle Dave's Mardi Gras party. They had lots of fun together. Mommy wishes she had pictures of them but Daddy forgot the camera and she stayed home in bed with us. Samwise wants to thank everyone who has sent him good thoughts and purrs. We think that is why he felt better so soon. You guys are great and we are very thankful for you!! Thanks again!!

And oh no, we almost forgot! Today is our Mommy's birthday!!! She's 32 today - really old for a cat!
