Tabby Tuesday

Heya kitties - it is ME, FAGIN!!! YAY!!!

Kitties, ME has a question for you - Why does humans not like us to put the bitey on them? You see, this morning FAGIN was a good FAGIN and decided to cuddle and snuggle with Mommy before she had to get up to go day hunting. It was about 5am and she seemed happy to see FAGIN. FAGIN cuddled up to her and purred lots and even made biscuits!! Mommy even petted FAGIN's head. Well, FAGIN wa so excited, that ME could not help it - ME snuggled her arm and then BITE!! ME was gentle, honest!! FAGIN just could not help putting the bitey on Mommy's arm!! Mommy screamed really loud and said "FAGIN!!!!" and then suddenly FAGIN was flying through the air off the bed and onto the floor. Well, FAGIN'S Mommy would never throw FAGIN off the bed on purpose (would she?) so ME climed back into bed and cuddled and snuggled again. Mommy petted FAGIN again so tossing ME must have been a mistake. I got so excited that well - BITE!! And do you kitties know what? FAGIN flew through the air again!! FAGIN no think Mommy likes the bitey - do you kitties?

ME doesn't think she likes that either. But my Mom Lady Person says that they're "love bites" like a little baby kitty would give his mommy kitty on the neck. 'speshully if you're gifing her biscuits and stuff. we just get carried away wif the good feelings and then BITE. But ME sometimes bites really hard. ME is usually always sorry. sometimes.

Hey FAGIN!! COME DANCEDANCEDANCE PLAYPLAYPLAY!! - we HAS to. - Billy

Hi Fagin, I know my Mommy loves me lots and lots, but when I puts the bitey on her, he doesn't like the bitey. She still love ME, just not the bitey. But what Mommy doesn't unnerstand is that sometime I get SO loveable that I can't help but put the bitey on Mommy. I still cant's figure out why Mommy doesn't unnerstand that. I just know that Mommy loves me lots. and lots.

Hi Fagin! We don't think that Mommy would mind little love bites! Tiny ones! You have to be very careful to do these!

Trooder gives love bites too! And he is a big mancat of 3 or 4 years old... Sum times we fink da beans ferget how we communicate and dats why dey get upset when we do sumfin dat isn't bad. See beans dun bite when they greet each other, nor do they sniff butts - which we dun get either. So maybe little biteys wud be ok?

I don't know why the humans get mad when we bite them. Mine has been known to bite me back...

My Mommie does not seem to enjoy getting the bitey, either. It's very hard to understand.

Fagin, me Gracie. Me like to bitey too, but two legged thing doesn't. Her held my paws and said NO really loud. Me was also bunnykicking her and using clawrs to play. Me don't think she liked it either.

It depends on the bitey. The Mom doesn't mind a nice lovey bitey every now and then. But sometimes I forget (heh heh) and just chomp on her. That usually gets me tossed. I just don't understand The Moms sometimes.

I think it depends on how hard the bitey is! Is it a love bite or a "I'm so excited I just have to munch on your arm" bite? When I do the second one I get tossed too...

If your mommy is anything like mine, she is probably pretty cranky right now and the bitey is NOT a good idea.

I know you said you were gentle, Fagin, but it must have hurt for your Mommy to toss you off of the bed.

Perhaps you should reserve your bitey for your siblings.

I cuddle and snuggle with my Momma at night when she is giving me lots and lots of attention. All of a sudden she says I turned wild beast and I bite her. She read it's because we become overstimulated. She says she never knows when I become overstimulated but she tries to monitor my tail movements. I really don't want to hurt her but I have been known to give her the paw and the bite...she doesn't like it at all.

No mum's don't like 'the bitey'. Or try not to bite a tender spot.

Anastasia bit. But the staff learned how to deal with it. I "love bite" which means if I get excited I bite - but not hard... Good staff knows that we don't mean a it and can't help it and that it only means we love them!!!

And you might have watched the latest CCSI caper already (we are beyond being organized!) - but if you didn't - you got to check it out!!! It is done totally different than the others and just way cool!!!

It appears that the hooman may not like the bitey after all. But still..to be sure..try one more time ;)

Purrs and hugs.

No, no, no, no, no, Fagin! Never put the bitey on your mom. That's a good way to end up in the doghouse. (We're not supposed to call it a cathouse, for reasons obvious to humans.)

Fagin, don't be biting your mommy again. Mum says I am a good girl and don't ever do the bitey. She thinks this is because she never let me do it as a kitten, and I am pretty mellow.

Be nice to your mommy!!
